Now’s your chance to come face-to-face with these oft-nocturnal birds of prey. Learn about owls and hear stories of the owls that inhabit in Northeast Ohio before heading out on a hike in hopes of observing wild owls perched in trees of Lake View.
The evening will begin with a presentation by naturalists from Cleveland Metroparks and the Nature Center at Shaker Lakes, who will be accompanied by a live owl, and end with a walk through the cemetery looking for owls.
Bring your binoculars! This leisurely hike will be 1-1.5 miles, on paved road and grassy terrain that may be hilly or uneven at points and will last roughly 60 minutes.
