Celebrate the most wonderful time of the year with a musical performance inside the historic Wade Memorial Chapel.
This season, we are pleased to welcome Kristen Capp, Jack Hughes, and Tiffany Schaefer of Trio 42, who will bring their signature Celtic flair to a program of Christmas favorites. The concert will feature beloved carols and lively melodies alongside lesser-known gems, with a glimpse of the history behind them.
This concert will take place in the Wade Memorial Chapel and will last approximately 1 hour.
This concert is offered multiple times, please select your preferred time slot carefully.
Featured Musicians:
Kristen Capp
Kristen Capp has been playing the violin for over 25 years. After beginning in childhood with Cape Breton fiddle music, she went on to study classical violin at the University of Akron and Youngstown State University. Kristen often performs with small local ensembles in both classical and folk genres, but most of all loves teaching violin/fiddle to local musicians out of her home. Kristen and piper husband, Brian Bigley, live near Cleveland, Ohio with their dancing children, James and Kathleen, where they have formally started a family business sharing their love of music and manufacturing traditional Irish instruments, The Bigley Music Workshop LLC.
Jack Hughes
Jack Hughes is a composer, music professor, and fiddler living in Cleveland, OH. He began his musical studies on piano and trumpet in Reston, Virginia, before switching to violin as a teenager. Jack studied in Virginia with legendary Irish fiddler Brendan Mulvihill. As a composer, Jack has written works for choir, orchestra, string quartet, and other ensembles, and he teaches music theory and composition in the Cleveland area. Jack enjoys playing in the Irish music session at the Plank Road Tavern every Thursday at 7pm.
Tiffany Schaefer
Tiffany Schaefer is a lever harpist, singer, music educator, and a proud Cleveland Westside transplant. With a foundation in classical voice studies and training in the Master Harp Program at the Ohio Scottish Arts School, she frequently performs with multiple Celtic music ensembles and as a solo artist. A 2022 US National Scottish Harp Champion, Tiffany splits her time between performing and teaching private harp lessons & workshops at various harp retreats, in her home studio, and online.
When not performing or teaching, Tiffany can be found actively participating in the folk music world - playing in and running local Irish sessions, serving with several volunteer organizations keeping tradition alive, and running the harp competition at the Ohio Scottish Games.

Our modest blooms this year are a sign that the hillside is ready for renewal. You can help bring the hillside back to life. This fall, we plan to plant new bulbs to restore the display for years to come.
