An evening of mesmerizing Spanish Guitar works composed across several centuries.
This concert will take place in the Wade Memorial Chapel and will last approximately 1 hour. Featuring Nathaniel Hill, a senior at CIM studying with Jason Vieaux
This concert is offered multiple times, please select your preferred time slot carefully.
The Concert is offered at 4:30 pm and 6:30 pm.
No physical tickets will be issued. Your name will be added to the event registration list for check-in on the day of the event.
Proceeds benefit the Lake View Cemetery Foundation’s mission to preserve the arboretum and historic landscape and to fund educational programs.
Nathaniel Hill: is a classical guitarist known for his refined artistry, compelling stage presence, and deep musical sensitivity. He is currently pursuing a Double Graduate Diploma in Guitar Performance and Orchestral Conducting at the Cleveland Institute of Music, studying with Grammy Award-winner Jason Vieaux and conductor Tito Muñoz. Since arriving at CIM, Nathaniel has emerged as a dynamic performer across solo, chamber, and orchestral settings. He has presented solo recitals throughout Ohio, the Carolinas, Kentucky, Virginia, and Georgia, earning a reputation as a seasoned and expressive artist. As a chamber musician, Nathaniel has collaborated in duos with orchestral instruments and voice, as well as in trios and mixed ensembles. In 2024, he was awarded third prize in the Open Division of the Queens International Guitar Competition, and in 2025, was named CIM’s “most gifted classical guitarist” for four consecutive years—an exceptional distinction. Nathaniel made his concerto debut at age 15 with the Piedmont Chamber Orchestra, returning for additional solo appearances in 2022 and 2025. He also performed as soloist with the Asheville Symphony at age 18 and was a finalist in the MasterWorks Festival Concerto Competition.He has played in masterclasses with many of the world’s leading guitarists, including Jason Vieaux, David Russell, Christopher Parkening, Colin Davin, and Rovshan Mamedkuliev. With a nuanced approach to tone and interpretation, Nathaniel continues to shape a wide-ranging career as a performer and advocate for the classical guitar.

Tours and programs will go on regardless of rain, with refunds only if canceled and not rescheduled.
