Celebrate our country’s milestone anniversary.
This concert will take place in the Community Mausoleum, just inside the Mayfield Road Gate and will last roughly 90 minutes.
The program is framed by Antonin Dvorak’s beloved American String Quartet with the famous opening viola solo performed by award-winning violist and Oberlin Professor Kirsten Docter with Mari Sato, her long-time Cavani String Quartet partner, cellist Nora Willauer, recent Doctoral Graduate from the Cleveland Institute of Music and Classically Lake View’s Artistic Director; and Cleveland Orchestra violinist Isabel Trautwein.
Between movements, interludes include famous Spirituals performed by the gifted Cleveland vocalist Michael Ward and works by iconic American composers Florence Price and Dolores White.
Musicians:

He has been a member of the Singers Club of Cleveland, the Cleveland Orchestra Chorus, the Cleveland Chamber Choir, and the COTS Chamber Choir. Our modest blooms this year are a sign that the hillside is ready for renewal. You can help bring the hillside back to life. This fall, we plan to plant new bulbs to restore the display for years to come.
