Ready, Set, Run...15th Annual Run Through History

Run Through History is a fun-filled morning of activities at Lake View Cemetery. Taking place on Sunday, September 20, the event features a 5K race beginning at 8:50 a.m. and a 2-mile walk/run starting at 9:00 a.m. Both courses guide participants through the picturesque garden cemetery, with its challenging hills and winding roads.

Set your pace through the peaceful, winding roads of one of Cleveland’s most historic and scenic cemeteries. Whether you're running for a personal best, walking to reflect, or trotting alongside your pup, Run Through History is more than a 5K — it's a meaningful experience.

Run or Walk in Memory of a Loved One

Make your miles matter. Create or join a team to honor someone special — a parent, a sibling, a friend, a hero. Wear their name, carry their memory, and celebrate their life with every step.

On September 21, 2025, the Valentino family and friends participated 55 strong, as they ran in memory of their infant loved-one Nicholas Anthony Valentino, Jr., affectionally knows as “Meatball. “He was truly a happy, joyful baby. Though his time with us was short, he will forever be remembered and cherished by his family. We run 4 Meatball.”

Dogs Welcome

Bring your furry friend along for the run or walk! Dogs are part of our families too, and we welcome them to join in this tribute of life, love, and legacy. (Just be sure to leash up and clean up!)
