Experiencing Lake View from this great vantage point was one of many highlights Mark Druckenbrod reflects on with fondness as he leaves his 12-year seat as a member and President of the Lake View Cemetery Foundation Board of Directors.

If you attended a committee meeting or special event during Mark’s tenure as soon as Mark greeted you, his love for Lake View was infectious. This passion did not go unrecognized by fellow board member, William Batcheller.

“Mark spends a good deal of his day (maybe most) thinking about Lake View and what can be done to improve and strengthen it. As we move ahead, I can only hope that the energy Mark has brought to our organization over these years transfers to us, and that we can maintain the momentum he has helped build.”

Mark’s face lights up as he recognizes the people at the heart of Lake View’s work.
