Our campaign, Building on a Promise, helped fund the restoration of the important James A. Garfield Memorial. Thanks to the generous support of over 500 donors, we accomplished our goal and this now-gleaming gem is once again open to visitors. Now we turn our attention outward to our trees and to our veterans section so current and future generations can enjoy the landscapes and legacies our 19th century designers envisioned and brought to life.
Our caretaking task is even more vital today since Lake View is now officially a certified, level-2 arboretum. We must take care of the vital natural resources that define Lake View and make it a destination for over 150,000 visitors a year. At the same time, we’re working to enhance our vital veterans section, where those who served rest, including some who made the ultimate sacrifice on our behalf.
But we can’t do it alone. We need your help. Whether it’s funding a new tree or a veteran’s headstone, your contribution will make a difference. You can help us grow and help us give back.
