Celebrate Black History Month by discovering the countless African American changemakers laid to rest at Lake View.
Deborah A. Abbott, Ph.D., past President of the African American Genealogical Society, will lead this presentation celebrating the achievements of African Americans who made historical contributions to Cleveland and our country. These exceptional pioneers, civic leaders, inventors, and performers broke down barriers, and overcame challenges when confronted with discrimination.
This Presentation on African American Changemakers will take place inside the Community Mausoleum, just inside the Mayfield gate, and last approximately 90 minutes.
