Meet with a Memorial Advisor

Upon arrival at Lake View you will meet with one of our Memorial Advisors who will guide you through the process of making your cemetery arrangements. Whether you currently own property at Lake View or need to select property, your Advisor will walk you through every step of the arrangement process.

What can I expect from start to finish?

While all funerals are different, in general the typical course of events from beginning to end is as follows:

1. Notification
The funeral home and the cemetery are notified by the family that a death has occurred.

2. Transport
The funeral home goes to the place of death to transport the deceased to the funeral home.

3. Meeting with Funeral Director
The family works with a funeral director (usually within a day or so) to make arrangements for their service.

4. Meeting with Advisor
The family meets with a Lake View Cemetery Memorial Advisor in the cemetery office to plan the committal service.

5. Coordination
The cemetery and the funeral director work together to ensure all details of the burial are coordinated for a seamless experience on the day of the burial.

6. Funeral Service
The funeral service is held, which is typically followed by the committal service at the cemetery.

7. Follow Up Meeting
 Your Memorial Advisor will follow up with your family following the burial to review what to expect in the weeks and months ahead, and answer any questions you may have and discuss your loved one's memorialization options.
