Having paid the ultimate sacrifice serving our country, Lake View is proud to provide a burial space free of charge to honorably discharged veterans. Offering space for both casket and cremation, our Veterans Section is a beautiful tribute to those who have served.

Any honorably discharged veteran can be interred in the Veterans Section with a copy of their DD214. If the veteran has a spouse, the spouse can be interred in the same space. The veteran will be provided an upright headstone at no cost, courtesy of the government. The fees that apply are the opening and closing, burial vault, casket or urn, and headstone foundation. In the event of a spouse being interred in the same space, a second right of interment and the same fees above will apply. The spouse’s memorialization will be a footstone installed in front of the veteran’s headstone. If you are an honorably discharged veteran, but are interested in another space in Lake View, or a family lot, a $995 credit will be applied to the purchase of any space in the cemetery.
